Review: ELF 3pc Eyelid Primer Set

Good evening ladies!

After posting my latest ELF haul post many of you asked me to review the ELF 3pc Eyelid Primer Set.... so here goes!

I saw this on the site & couldn't resist trying it, I'd never really heard of an eyelid primer set before and this intrigued me!

As the name suggests you get 3 different shades of eyelid primer - Nude, Pearl & Champagne.

The applicator is a soft sponge, perfect for adding just the right amount of product to the eye area without wasting too much product.

Top to bottom - Nude, Pearl & Champagne.

My favourite shade has to be champagne, it goes well with most of my eyeshadow choices and makes the colour really stand out. I own the full size of Nude as ELF actually sell this separately on their site and it has been a long standing favourite of mine.

Application wise these go on a treat, they are lovely & creamy and you really don't need much product to cover the whole eye area.

I find that when I've used one of these my eyeshadow applies so much smoother and it lasts alot longer without creasing, something that is a real bug bare of mine!

Overall I cannot recommend this product enough, it's unbelievable value for money and if you've never tried an eye primer before & you're slightly worried about parting with too much money this is a great way to start.

Product: 9/10
Packaging: 9/10
Price: 10/10
Overall:9/10

Available at ELF priced at £3.50.

Currently Loving - March

Hi lovelies :)

I don't do this type of post often as my favourite products rarely change but these are my 'go to' current favourite products...

1 - Revlon Photoready foundation

I loved this foundation last year and I recently bought another bottle of it and it has reminded me just why I love it. This foundation leaves me looking fresh and dewy but still covers imperfections, lovely!

2 - Rimmel Silky Loose Powder

This has been a long standing favourite of mine & I love setting my foundation with this powder. It isn't too matt & being translucent doesn't end up looking cakey at all.

3 - Garnier Intensive 7 Days Moisturiser

Love this! Smells gorgeous and leaves my skin feeling very soft. Not thick and hard to work with like a body butter, perfect for spring/summer!

4 - No. 17 'Forever' Nail Polish

The perfect nude polish, for my NOTD post on this nail polish click here.

5 - ELF Studio Powder Brush

I've been using this brush for my liquid foundation and setting powder, I actually did a full review on this brush a while back, click here to read it :)

6 - No.7 Eyeshadow Blend & Contour Brush

The perfect eyeshadow blending brush & for the bargain price of £1.75 when bought using a No.7 voucher!

Review: ELF Eyelid Primer

I know... 2 primer reviews in 2 days... what's that about?!

But I HAD to tell you about this primer... I LOVE IT!!!

ELF Eyelid Primer

I seem to be loving ELF products at the moment, I can't resist a bargain & their products are such good quality for the price.

As you can see the primer is cream shade, it's very smooth and easy to apply and you only need the tiniest amount for each eye.

Urban Decay 'Toasted' & 'Hustle' without primer

Urban Decay 'Toasted' & 'Hustle' with primer

It's hard to show on camera but using the primer makes the shadows alot more vibrant than without a primer.

Eyeshadow without primer

Eyeshadow with primer

Again, It's hard to show exactly what this primer does on camera but I hope you can see the difference, I think the eyeshadow is alot more vibrant and stands out alot more than without the primer.

I use this primer nearly everyday, I apply it at 6am each morning before work and my eyeshadow is still going strong at 6pm when I get home. I have used the same eyeshadow without this primer and it didn't last half as long.

I cannot reccomend this primer enough, if you're a fan of Urban Decay PP then you HAVE to check this out... and the best bit?

It's only £1.50!!!

Only available on the ELF website.
