Will you recognise me in those flashing lights... OOTD

Hello my lovelies, I hope you're all well.
I thought I'd do a quick OOTD post & show you what I wore to work today...
Lace top - Primark
Black vest - Primark
Shorts - River Island
Belt - New Look
Tights - New look
Bracelet/cuff - Oasis
I picked this top up yesterday from Primark and I really like it! It's come out a little pinker on camera, in person it's more of a dusky pink. It feels like good quality & the button detailing is really cute, a bargain at £8!
These were my choice of footwear today, my trusty River Island court shoes. They were from last year so I'm afraid they are no longer current but RI do pretty similar styles every season.

I hope you're all having a fab week, is it too early to be thinking about the weekend already?!

Glossybox February 2012: The Fashion Week Edition...

Good evening my beauts! Hope you are all well =]

I'm writing this whilst stuffing my face with pancakes and watching The Brits, perfect evening!

Is it just me that feels like I only received my previous Glossybox a couple of days ago?! Seems odd to have another so soon! I thought I'd show you what I received this month...
As you can see the box is back to being the normal glossybox, I personally think they should have a different colour or theme for every month!
EEEEEP! This card excites me, alot! I can't wait check out Glossybox on Friday! I wonder what it could be?!
Contents & Thoughts:

Dr Bronzer Magic Liquid Soap: 'A combination of organic extra virgin coconut, olive, jojoba and hemp oils, together with pure essential oils.'  Am I the only person who is completely confused with this product, I actually don't know what I'm supposed to use it for! The instructions make no sense to me. If you know what this is for please let me know in the comments!
Paul Mitchell Super Skinny Relaxing Balm 'Intense hydrating treatment for your hair'  This was the product that I was probably most excited about in this box, I have never tried a Paul Mitchell product before and I have always been keen to. I've been researching it on the internet and it appears you should use it on damp hair before drying your hair, I can't wait to try it out.
Como Shambhala Invigorate Body Lotion: 'A revitalising blend of essential oils that puts you in a perfectly uplifted mood' Surprise surprise another body lotion. This really didn't excite me at all, I already have far too many body lotions and I really don't like the smell of this. Thumbs down!
BM Beauty Pure Mineral Eyeshadow: 'Award winning pure mineral eyeshadow' I've never really dabbled in mineral eyeshadows so this is a welcome addition to my makeup collection. I was glad I didn't receive the pink shade as I would never have used it but the grey shade that I received looks slightly more interesting.
DUWOP Venom Gloss: 'Combining subtle tinited lipgloss with DuWop's Lip Venom to create Venom Gloss' One girl can never have enough lipgloss & I'd heard of Lip Venom before so this was a welcome surprise. I tried it for the first time earlier today & I love the smell! It really made my lips tingle & I'm not sure if I really liked this, I'll give it another go and see how I get on with it.

Overall I really wasn't impressed with this box at all. Nothing in the box made me think 'WOW' and I was quite disappointed when I opened it. I'm so tempted to cancel my subscription but I know the month I do something amazing will be in the box!

What were your thoughts on this months box?

Storage: Muji Acrylic Brush Holder...

Good evening my lovelies, I hope you are all well.
I thought I'd show you the latest addition to my acrylic storage, my brush holder.
I can only apologise for my dirty brushes, I only washed them a couple of days ago & they already look filthy!

As you can see I keep my brushes in the back 4 sections and random bits & bobs in the front 2 sections.
There are 4 narrow sections in the back and 2 wider sections at the front.

I find this bush holder really handy, I can seperate my brushes into face and eye brushes and store bits & bobs in the front 2 sections. I like to keep my pencil sharpener, beauty blender & hair bits in these. This holder is also super easy to keep clean, when I clean my brushes I just give it a wipe with an anti-bacterial wipe.

If you have acrylic make up storage and wanted something to match or even if you don't I couldn't recommend this holder enough.

Available from Muji  priced at £7.95.

How do you store your make up brushes?

My Amazing £10 Primark Bargain...

Good evening my lovelies, it's nearly Friday, YAY!!!

This is just a super quick post to show you an amazing bargain I found in my local Primark this evening.
On the hanger it looked very shapeless and dull but when I tried it on I instantly fell in love with it. It's very tight and figure hugging and as you can see it has mesh strips down the sides and mesh down the front area.

I've seen so many similar dresses to this on the highstreet for £40+ and was actually close to buying a similar one in River Island recently, I'm so glad I didn't. The dress itself is very good quality for Primark, I don't think you would know it was from there unless somebody told you!

I know it isn't exactly a 'meet the parents dress' but I think it's perfect for a night on the tiles!

Available in Primark priced at £10.00

Valentines Day 2012...

Happy Valentines Day my lovelies =]

I was a very lucky girl this year, my boyfriend Anthony chose me some lovely gifts & I thought I'd show you what he got me!
How cuuuute is this?! Anthony isn't really a card person, he doesn't see the point in them but he knows I love them so always makes an effort to pick a lovely one.
Probably not the most romantic gift in the world but I have wanted some white converse for ages & Anthony obviously knew this so to me this is super romantic & thoughtful! He even got the right size! He has earned some brownie points with these =]

Sadly I won't be see Anythony tonight, he works away all week which is a bit of a bummer but we're going out for a meal at the weekend to make up for it =]

I just want to wish my beautiful followers a very happy Valentines Day, whether you're spending it with a loved one or having fun being a singleton I hope you all have a fab evening!

What are your plans for valentines?

All Tangled Up... Tangle Teezer Magic Flowerpot Review...

Hello you gorgeous lot, I hope you're all having a fabulous week!

One of my favourite Christmas presents last year had to be my Tangle Teezer that my Boyfriend's lovely sister bought me, I'd wanted one for a while & was delighted when I opened it!
Tangle Teezer say:
'Ouch! End years of tears with Magic Flowerpot. The easy to hold detangling flower hairbrush makes brushing her own hair easy peasy. Tangled prone princess hair is left feeling and looking magical. Its mum’s little fairy tale helper and every little girl's wish!'

This version of the brush is intended for children but Steph said she couldn't resist it as it was so cute, i'm sure it works just as well as any other Tangle Teezer would and it looks super cute on a dressing table!
Before owning this brush I would dread brushing my hair after washing it, it was always in such a tangled mess it would make me cry when trying to brush through it.

The bristles are super flexible and made from durable plastic, I don't know much about the science behind them but I do know they make brushing any tangles out of hair super easy and pain free without damaging the brush in any way.

I also like to use this brush to backcomb & I've been known to pop it into my clutch bag on a night out, it has to be my most versatile hair product!

As the brush is made from plastic it's really easy to keep clean, every couple of days I remove any loose hair from the brush and wash it with warm water & baby shampoo.

Overall this is one of my favourite products of the year so far and if you haven't taken the plunge and purchased a Tangle Teezer I cannot recommend them enough.

Tangle Teezers are available at Boots & salons through the UK priced at around £10 depending on which version you opt for.

Are you a Tangle Teezer fan?
