Blog Lovin' Tuesday - #1

Hi lovelies!

I've decided to start doing a weekly round up of my favourite posts from the past week.

I thought it was a good idea to show some of the hard work that people put in & you might even find a blogger or 2 that you don't currently follow :)

Daisy's fab post about the gorgeous Alexander Wang lookalike bag :)

How amazing are those shoes?!? I need them in my life!

What a lovely perfume collection, it's given me lots of inspiration to bright up my spring perfume collection, my poor bank balance!

I loved this post, I've been eyeing these powders up for a while and will certainly check this out before parting with the £69.00 for all 3!

I've never tried any Botanics products before but this has inspired me to broaden my horizons and give this a go!

I hope you enjoy these posts as much as I did!

If I don't already follow your blog please feel free to pop a link in the comments below, I don't want to feature the same blog week in week out & I love checking out new blogs :)

NOTD: Revlon - Peach Smoothie 345

Hi dolls, I hope you all had a great weekend :)

I thought I'd show you all a new favourite of mine...

Revlon - Peach Smoothie [345]

As you can see this is a gorgeous peach nude, the perfect shade for spring!

This was 2 coats with a topcoat, it was tricky and quite streaky but I got there in the end. Are all Revlon polishes like this?!

This is a polish from the new scented range and this one smells DEVINE! I wouldn't say it smells peachy but it's sweet and yummy, I can't resist having a sneaky whiff every now and then!

Revlon polishes are currently 2 for £8.00 in Boots which is a steal considering they usually cost £6.29 each.

I also picked up 'Tropical Temptation' & I'll do a NOTD on this when I get around to trying it out.

What are your favourite Revlon polishes?

Review: Eylure - Lashfix

Hi Lovelies!

I bought this eyelash glue as part of my mini ASOS haul & I thought I'd share my thoughts on it :)

Eylure - Lashfix

This is the applicator, a really handy and easy to use plastic spatula.

It makes applying the glue to the lash easy, although it can get a little messy!

Like most eyelash glue it applies white and dries clear...

You'll have to excuse the shoddy application, I only applied the lash for photographic purposes. I didn't go out like this, honest :)

Pro's:

The price
The amount of product you get
Long lasting
Easy to use
No negative reaction to product

Con's:

Availability (Only seen this on ASOS!)
Bottle can become messy

As you can see I like this product... alot!

Priced at around the £2.00 mark (I can't remember exactly) It's a bargain, I've paid much more in the past for worse eyelash glue... Revlon... Ahem!

I was going to pop a link to the product on ASOS but I can't find it! I think it might be out of stock at the moment.

I really want to try Duo glue and I think this may be my next choice once this has run out.

What is your favourite eyelash glue?

Currently Loving - March

Hi lovelies :)

I don't do this type of post often as my favourite products rarely change but these are my 'go to' current favourite products...

1 - Revlon Photoready foundation

I loved this foundation last year and I recently bought another bottle of it and it has reminded me just why I love it. This foundation leaves me looking fresh and dewy but still covers imperfections, lovely!

2 - Rimmel Silky Loose Powder

This has been a long standing favourite of mine & I love setting my foundation with this powder. It isn't too matt & being translucent doesn't end up looking cakey at all.

3 - Garnier Intensive 7 Days Moisturiser

Love this! Smells gorgeous and leaves my skin feeling very soft. Not thick and hard to work with like a body butter, perfect for spring/summer!

4 - No. 17 'Forever' Nail Polish

The perfect nude polish, for my NOTD post on this nail polish click here.

5 - ELF Studio Powder Brush

I've been using this brush for my liquid foundation and setting powder, I actually did a full review on this brush a while back, click here to read it :)

6 - No.7 Eyeshadow Blend & Contour Brush

The perfect eyeshadow blending brush & for the bargain price of £1.75 when bought using a No.7 voucher!

Mini ASOS Haul

Hi dolls :)

I'm sure you're all aware of the ASOS deal that Groupon had last week, you bought a voucher for £9 and got to spend £20 on ASOS.

I can never resist a bargain so me and the girls at work all bought the vouchers and eagerly awaited our codes.

I placed my order on Friday and this is what I picked up:

Black Camisole Top
Black Bow Belt
Eyelure Lashfix Eyelash Glue
Soap & Glory Heel Genius
Batiste Diva Dry Shampoo

Can you believe that this little lot only cost me £9?!?

I'd also like to add that I placed my order on Friday evening using the free saver delivery and my order arrived today (Tuesday) how quick :) I've paid for delivery in the past that has taken longer!

I can't wait to try my bargains out & I'll be sure to review the beauty products.

Did you use the Groupon voucher? If so what did you buy?

NOTD - No.17 'Forever'

Hi lovelies! I Hope you're all having a good Monday :)

What a bloody day I've had! I started jury service today, if you ever have the misfortune of being called up all I will say is make sure you have plenty of books and others things to keep you occupied. The waiting is redic!

On the way home I missed my stop on the train and had to get off at the stop after, not a problem I thought. An hour later I was wandering around the park/woods totally lost bawling my eyes out! My stepdad came and rescued me in the end, I've never been so relieved! You'd never know I'm a grown woman :)

Anyway... Onto the NOTD...

No.17 'Forever'

How pretty is this nail polish :)

It's a pinky nude, very on trend for spring!

This is 3 coats and a coat of Seche Vite (which for the record is going gloopy, bad times!) I'd say 3 coats is needed, any less and you will see VNL.

I can't recommend this nail polish enough and at £2.99 I'll be picking another one up!

What are your favourite spring shades?

Cosmopolitan Blend Perfection Sponge - I Just Don't 'Get It'

I don't write many negative reviews, I much prefer talking about products that I like and want to recommend to others but I need your help!

I recently purchased two Cosmopolitan Blend Perfection sponges, one for myself and one to include as part of my 100 follower giveaway. I'd seen lots of positive reviews from fellow beauty bloggers and I couldn't wait to try it out. The only problem I have is...

I just don't get it!

I've tried using the sponge damp and dry, dabbing, rubbing and using it in circular motions and nothing seems to work. It doesn't leave me looking flawless or airbrushed as others have said, it just leaves me looking patchy and I have to re-do my foundation. I really want to make this work as I've seen so many rave reviews about it. So my question to you lovely bloggerinos is... How do you use yours?!?

Any advice would be much appreciated.
