Pre Holiday Haul...

Hello beauts, it's finally the weekend!

I leave for Turkey at 3am tomorrow morning so over the past week or so I've picked a few holiday items, I haven't bought much but I thought I'd show you what I've picked up...

Here goes!
White Hat, Primark, £4.00

I've been after a beach hat for ages & when I saw this I fell in love with it, I can't wait to wear it on the beach!
Ted Baker Bag - Bicester Village Outlet - £24.00

I've loved these bags for ages but always thought £35.00 was a little steep for what is essentially a plastic bag but when me & the boyfriend visited Bicester Village last week it was £24.00 & my lovely boyfriend treated me to it. I can't wait to use this on the beach!
Mac Hue - Bicester Village Outlet - £9.50

I've been after Hue for ages but whenever I visit my local Mac counter it's always sold out so you can image my amazement when I managed to pick it up in Bicester Village for £9.50! The outlet store itself stocks Estee Lauder, Bobbi Brown, Mac & Clarins amongst many other brands & I would certainly recommend going!
Nude Wedges - New Look - £15.00

New Look currently have 25% off all items in their holiday range, this includes bikinis, some shoes & clothes and other items. I picked these up for £15.00 down from £20.00 & thought they would be perfect for holiday as they will go with so many outfits I'm taking as I'm not taking ANY high heels, eek!
Black Peplum Top - Topshop - £24.00

I've seen so many people with this top so I'm hardly being very original but I LOVE wearing this top. It's really fitted so gives a lovely shape and the zip at the back is a lovely detail. I actually also own this in the ivory colour but it's currently in the wash for holiday, I would certainly recommend checking these out!
Striped Make Up Bag - Primark - £3.00

I was after a cheap make up bag to take on holiday and thought this was perfect. It's big enough to fit the majority of what I'll need & at the same time it's still uber cute!
Striped Make Up Bag - Primark - £2.00

I know buying 2 make up bags is a little excessive but I couldn't decide between the two and they were both super cheap so I thought why not. This actually reminds me of a similar Ted baker bag and almost matches my Ted Baker bag above. I'm using it to store my jewellery in when packing but i'm sure it'll get plenty of use when I'm back!
 False Lashes - Primark - £1.00

I've heard lots of good things about the Primark lashes so decided to pick up a couple of pairs. I haven't used these yet as I'm saving them for holiday but I'll be sure to report report back!
Gold Wing Earrings - River Island - £3.00

I mentioned these in my Wednesday Wislist and decided to pick them up as my last pre holiday treat. They look lovely and I'm sure I'll get plenty of use out of them both on holiday & back home.

So that's it, my pre holiday haul!

I'm all packed & super excited. I can't wait to get on that plane and spend a week on the beach!

Hope you all have a great weekend.

April Beauty Haul - Featuring Nars, MAC, Etc...

Hello my lovelies <3

I hope you're all enjoying the easter weekend. I dragged my boyfriend to see Titanic 3D last night, he wasn't impressed! I've seen it at least 10 times and I still spent the last half an hour sobbing like a loser.

I haven't blogged a haul in quite a while and now I need to split my recenty haul into 2 posts! I've decided to split this haul into one beauty post & one fashion post, here are the beauty products I've bought recently...
It doesn't look like much when I look at like this, it felt like more when I was buying it! Here's a closer look at what I bought...

Nars Laguna:
Now when I say I bought this I actually got it for free! Don't worry, I haven't taken to a life of crime just yet. I actually got it for free from Buyapowa, I recommended the most co-buyers and received Nars Laguna completely free of charge. I'm actually going to write a full post about Buyapowa as it's become somewhat an addiction of mine. I wanted Laguna FOREVER and was so happy when it popped up on Buyapowa for £18.00, I was even happier when I got it for free!

MAC:
MAC Paintpot in Painterly, MAC Eyebrow pencil in Stud & MAC Lovelorn lipstick.

I went to the Mac counter in Bluewater intending to buy an MSF Natural & MSF Soft & Gentle and they had neither of these in stock so naturally I got 3 completetly different products instead. This is my first paint pot and I've really enjoyed using it so far. The eyebrow pencil is a lovely dark grey/brown colour and looks really nice on my brows. I actually wanted to buy Mac Hue but again they didn't have this is stock so went for Lovelorn instead.

Drugstore products:
Revlon Colorstay foundation, Rimmel Lasting Finish in Misty Jade & Apricot Punch and L'oreal Carress in Dating Coral.

Boots currently have 3 for 2 on all cosmetics so it would be rude not to participate and buy a few things!

I've been a fan of Revlon Colorstay for a few years now & always like to have a bottle in my collection, I  bought this when I bought my giveaway prizes and actually got this bottle for free.

I really wanted a mint green mail polish but my Boots had sold out of nearly all Barry M polishes so I opted for Rimmel intsead, Apricot Punch also looked like a lovely spring colour so I picked this up too. I had my eye on L'oreal Caresse for a few days and kept popping in until my Boots finally had it in stock, I'm really impressed with it so far and will be posting a full review soon!

Overall I'm really happy with everything I bought, if you would like a full review of anything I've bought please leave a comment below.

These Are A Few Of My Favourite Things - March...

Hello you beautiful lot <3

I'm so happy we have a four day weekend, it's a lovely feeling knowing I don't have to be up at stupidoclock for work tomorrow =] I don't actually have much planned but it'll be nice just relaxing!

I know I'm a couple of days late posting my favorites from March but I wanted to get my 800 follower giveaway up first, if you haven't see that post then click here

March was a really boring month for me in terms of beauty products, I hadn't bought many new products and my skin was playing up so I was wary about using too many products. Never the less here is what I was enjoying in the month of March...
Simple Kind To Skin Replenishing Moisturiser:

As I said before I had a major breakout in March and this was the only product I trusted not to make the situation any worse. I often deviate from using this product in favour of other brands but always come back to this when I need a moisturiser that won't let me down or make a breakout worse.

L'Oréal False Lash Telescopic:

I've already posted a full review of this product which you can read here but this is simply the best mascara I have ever used and I will be repurchasing it very soon!

OPI Nail Envy:

I bought this from Buyapowa at the beginning of March and have been using it ever since. It's a little too early for me to post a full review just yet but my nails have felt alot stronger since using this and I've been able to grow them for once! I'll be posting a full review in a few weeks when I've given the product time to really work.

MAC Watch Me Simmer Lipstick:

I posted a FOTD with this lipstick that you can see here. Although I don't use this everyday as it's a little bright it's been my lipstick of choice for nights out. When we were having warmer weather (where has it gone, booooo!) it looked lovely. I will certainly be using this alot over the coming months & summer, we just need more sun now!

Real Techniques Stipple Brush:

I've been meaning to post a full review of this brush for ages but I simply haven't got round to it! I love this brush for applying liquid foundation and cream blush. It's really good quality and hasn't shed at all, if you want to try a real techniques brush I certainly recommend starting with this one!

I told you I hadn't been using anything very exciting so if you made it this far I applaud you!

I hope you all have a great Easter weekend and eat your own body weight in chocolate! I'll be posting a recent beauty haul in a couple of days so look out for that =]

MAC Watch Me Simmer - Swatch & FOTD...

Good evening my lovelies =]

How can it be Monday again already?! The week seems go to so slow & the weekend super quick =[ I am however enjyoing the warmer weather and lighter evenings!

A couple of weeks ago now MAC released the 'Shop Mac Cook Mac' collection and I had my eye on a couple of products, this being the main one...
MAC - Watch Me Simmer
How beautiful is this colour?!

It's a very weird colour to describe, in some lights it's pink/coral, sometimes it can look almost raspberry and occasionally it can look orange. I think it's the perfect shade for spring/summer & I can't wait to wear it on holiday =]

Being an amplified finish it's very bright and vibrant. It can be a tad drying so I would suggest wearing a balm underneath. I find the colour lasts for a couple of hours before I need to re-apply.

When I got home from work I quickly slapped this on to show you a FOTD, please ignore the rest of my make up - I'd been wearing it for 8 hours!
As you can see in this light it looks different to the swatch, I can only recommend swatching it instore!

I really want to pick up Innocence Beware next time i'm at a MAC counter so fingers crossed they still have some in stock =]

What are your favourite spring/summer lipsticks?

My Top 10 Products Of 2011 ♥

Hello lovelies, I hope you're all well!

As it's nearly the end of 2011 I decided to post about my favourite products from the past 12 months. I've discovered some of these products in the past year & some are long standing favourites.

Here goes! =]

Aussie - 3 Minute Miracle

I've been using this product for many years & I can't imagine not having a bottle or 2 in my bathroom! This is my favourite deep conditioner, nothing else leaves my hair feeling as soft & nourished and it's a bit of a bargain, winner!

St Ives - Apricot Scrub

This is another product I have used for many years. The packaging may be new but the formula is the same great exfoliant I have used and loved since I was about 14! I use this 1-2 times a week to keep my skin looking & feeling fresh.

Soap & Glory - Hand Food

This is one of my favourite discoveries of 2011, this hand cream is amazing! It leaves my hands feeling uber soft and it smells amazing.

Mac - MSF Natural

Please excuse my grubby MSF! I use my Mac MSF Natural to set my foundation everyday, it makes my make up last all day and gives me the extra coverage I need in winter.

Liz Earle - Cleanse & Polish

I started using this in late 2010 and I haven't stopped since! This has to be my 5th or 6th bottle and I can see myself buying this for years to come. I love using this to remove my make up at night, my skin feels so fresh and clean after I've used it & I love the 'natural' scent.

MUA - Heaven & Earth Palette

I'm sure this product will be on many peoples lists so I'm sorry if you have seen this a billion times! This is a great everyday palette that can be used for both day and night looks. This is actually my second palette as I bought one for back up incase they ever stop selling it!

Collection 2000 - Lasting Perfection Concealer

Once again you'll have to excuse the rubbish picture, like so many the writing on my Lasting Perfection concealer has started to rub off. This is without a doubt one of the best concealers I have ever tried. So many bloggers have wrote about this & I'm so glad I finally gave in to trying it. If you haven't already picked one up then I cannot recommend it enough!

Barry M - Nail Paint

I know this is cheating slightly but I couldn't just pick one Barry M nail polish! This is my favourite brand of nail polish hands down. It's cheap, the selection of colours available are amazing and the finish is brilliant. These are just a few of my favourites, my collection is getting out of hand!

Soap & Glory - The Righteous Butter

I know I've blogged about this many times before & I'm really sorry I keep banging on about it but it's amazing! I love applying a thick layer of this after a bath, when I wake up my skin is baby soft & it smells gorgeous! If you have already tried this then I cannot recommend it enough.

VO5 - Miracle Concentrate

I only discovered this product in the latter part of this year & It's already become a firm favourite. My hair is without a doubt in alot better condition now I have started using this & it helps to combat the awful frizzy hair I always seem to get at this time of year.

So there we have it! My favourite products of 2011.

I can't believe it's going to be 2012 in a couple of weeks, the years are going far too fast now I'm all grown up =[

What have been your favourite products this year?

Mini Mac Haul...

Good evening ladies, I hope you all had a fab weekend!

Me & the other half took a rare day off work today & I dragged him to Bluewater to do a spot of Christmas shopping!

No shopping trip is complete without a little visit to Mac, with it being so close to Christmas I couldn't justify buying lots so I just got couple of bits. Here is what I picked up...
Mac blush in 'Desert Rose' & Mac Cremesheen lipstick in 'Creme Cup'
L-R: Mac Desert Rose Blush & Mac Creme Cup Lipstick
I've had my eye on Cremecup for ages, I'm really glad I finally have it in my collection =]

Whilst at Bluewater we decided to try the Cadbury Cocoa House for a spot of lunch, whilst in there I took a few photo's for my lovely blogerinos!
The inside is lovely & cosy and I was amazed by the vase's full of chocolate!

I chose the chocolate fudge cake...
Tony had the scones with jam & clotted cream...
I have to be honest & say that the food wasn't that great.

My caramel latte was cold when I got it & it had to be replaced and the chocolate fudge cake was very dry. Me & Tony both thought it would be alot more chocolate orientated but it was just like any other coffee shop in my opinion. I'm glad I've been but I don't think I would choose to go there again.

Have you started your Christmas shopping yet? I'm nearly finished, yay!
