These Are A few Of My Favourite Things | July Favourites 2012

Hello my lovelies.

I know I say this every week but I can't believe it's time for my July favourites already, where is this year going?!

Here's what I've been loving this month...
1 YSL Touche Eclat Foundation | 2 Garnier Summer Body Moisturiser | 3 Lush Rub Rub Rub Scrub | 4 Origins Super Spot Remover | 5 Essie Fiji | 6 Nars Angelika | 7 Seche Vite

YSL Touche Eclat Foundation | I bought this on the day it was released & I've used it every day since. It provides a lovely natural coverage whilst adding a lovely glow, I'll be posting a full review very soon!

Garnier Summer Body Moisturiser | It's been a month since my holiday & I've started to lose my natural tan so I've been using this every day to top it up. I love how this feels on the skin & I love the colour it provides, I know i'll be using this all summer.

Lush Rub Rub Rub Scrub | I bought this after Gracie recommended it & I'm so glad I did! It's the best shower scrub I've ever used, I feel like it really works & my skin feels lovely after using it.

Origins Super Spot Remover | My month has been an utter bitch this month due to stress and I've broken out alot more than usual so this product has been a godsend! It's by no means a miracle product but it helps to reduce spots & I've found it also stops the breakout scarring, full review to come soon!

Essie Fiji | I think I've worn this nail polish for about 3 weeks this month, every time I took it off I was reapplying it! It looks lovely with a tan & I need to buy another bottle ASAP, you can see a NOTD with Essie Fiji here.

Nars Angelika | I bought this blush a couple of weeks ago on Buyapowa & I absolutely love it. I know it looks like a glitter ball in the pan but this really doesn't transfer to the face & I love the colour. I have a little Nars blush collection going which is awful for my bank balance!

Seche Vite Top Coat | This is somewhat of a cult product in the beauty world & it's easy to see why. I love how shiny my nails looks after applying it & my nail polish lasts so much longer after using it. I'll be posting a full review of this next week along with a link to where you can buy it for £6 so keep your eyes peeled for that!

I'd love to know what your favourite products ware this month.

These Are A Few Of My Favourite Things... May '12

Good evening my beauts, I hope you're all well!

I know I'm a few days late to the party with my May favourites but I had such a busy Jubilee weekend I didn't have time to get the post up *slaps wrist.*

Here is what I was loving in the month of May '12...
1 - Nars Laguna | 2 - Origins A Perfect World | 3 - Bioderma Sensibo | 4 - Loreal Lumi Magique | 5 - Sure Maximum Protection | 6 - Loreal Rouge Caresse Lipstick | 7 - Clarins Liquid Bronze For Face & Decollete

Nars Laguna - With the warmer weather I've been adding a touch of bronzer to my make up & Laguna is perfect for giving a sun kissed glow.

Origins A Perfect World Moisturiser -  I got this when Origins were hosting their trade in day & I've used it every day since! It leaves my skin feeling lovely & it smells amazing. I'll certainly be purchasing this when I run out.

Bioderma Sensibo - I really don't need to say too much about this as it's all been said 1000 times! I love using this to remove my make up at night & to refresh my skin in the morning, I recently posted a full review of this so if you want to read more click here.

Loreal Lumi Magique - I was on the hunt for a new foundation that I could take away on holiday with me & I think I've found the one! This foundation provides medium coverage and leaves a beautiful dewy glow, i'll be posting a full review soon!

Sure Maximum Protection -  I've already talked about this product in great length here so I won't ramble on but this is my number one deodorant and it will certainly be coming away to Turkey with me! Click here to read my full review.

Loreal Rouge Caresse Lipstick 'Dating Coral' - This is my perfect summer lipstick, a gorgeous coral shade with a balmy sheer finish. This is so easy to apply you don't even need a mirror so it's perfect for on the go touch ups. I've since picked up a couple of more shades from the range but this is still my favourite.

Clarins Liquid Bronze For Face & Decollete - I picked this up after Anna raved about it in a YT video & I've loved it ever since. I use it every few days and it leaves my skin looking tanned and glowing. Once again I will be posting a full review on this soon so keeps your eyes peeled!

Other than that I've just been loving the sunshine, celebrating the Diamond Jubilee & flat hunting with my boyfriend for our first pad together!

What were your favourites from May '12?

Review: Nars Laguna Bronzer...

Hello my lovelies, I hope you're all having a great weekend so far!

I'm going out for my 21st tonight, my birthday isn't until Tuesday but I'm having an early celebration. I can't wait!

I recently purchased Nars Laguna & I thought it was about time I posted a review.
What Nars say:
'Diffused powder with golden shimmer to create an all-over warmth and contour for the entire face.Bronzing Powder creates a natural looking glow which enhances or creates the look of tanned skin'

What I think:
Nars Laguna is somewhat of a cult product in the beauty community and it's easy to see why. The packaging is sleek, the powder itself is finely milled & great quality and the colour is perfect.
Product:
As mentioned above the product itself is great. The powder is finely milled and great quality. Laguna is a medium brown with gold shimmer, the shimmer is beautiful and in no way glittery or chunky. I normally use a matt bronzer to contour but I find Laguna perfect for the job and have used it every day since purchasing it. I also use Laguna all over the face to add some warmth to my complexion, it leaves a lovely natural finish and can easily be built up if you prefer the darker look.
Packaging:
Laguna comes in the standard black Nars packaging. As anybody who owns a Nars product will know, Nars packaging may look nice brand new but it attracts product and finger prints like nothing else! I love the fact that Laguna is a large bronzer with a mirror included, this makes it really easy to use and it's perfect for on the go touch ups.
Price & Availabilty:
Nars Laguna costs £25.00 per 8g. It is available from the Nars website and Nars stockists worldwide.
Overall Opinion:
Overall I'm very impressed with Nars Laguna and I feel the hype surrounding this product is much deserved. If you're look for a high quality bronzer that will last ages Nars Laguna is for you!

Benefit Hoola & Soleil Tan De Chanel are next on my bronzer hitlist.

What are your favourite bronzers?

April Beauty Haul - Featuring Nars, MAC, Etc...

Hello my lovelies <3

I hope you're all enjoying the easter weekend. I dragged my boyfriend to see Titanic 3D last night, he wasn't impressed! I've seen it at least 10 times and I still spent the last half an hour sobbing like a loser.

I haven't blogged a haul in quite a while and now I need to split my recenty haul into 2 posts! I've decided to split this haul into one beauty post & one fashion post, here are the beauty products I've bought recently...
It doesn't look like much when I look at like this, it felt like more when I was buying it! Here's a closer look at what I bought...

Nars Laguna:
Now when I say I bought this I actually got it for free! Don't worry, I haven't taken to a life of crime just yet. I actually got it for free from Buyapowa, I recommended the most co-buyers and received Nars Laguna completely free of charge. I'm actually going to write a full post about Buyapowa as it's become somewhat an addiction of mine. I wanted Laguna FOREVER and was so happy when it popped up on Buyapowa for £18.00, I was even happier when I got it for free!

MAC:
MAC Paintpot in Painterly, MAC Eyebrow pencil in Stud & MAC Lovelorn lipstick.

I went to the Mac counter in Bluewater intending to buy an MSF Natural & MSF Soft & Gentle and they had neither of these in stock so naturally I got 3 completetly different products instead. This is my first paint pot and I've really enjoyed using it so far. The eyebrow pencil is a lovely dark grey/brown colour and looks really nice on my brows. I actually wanted to buy Mac Hue but again they didn't have this is stock so went for Lovelorn instead.

Drugstore products:
Revlon Colorstay foundation, Rimmel Lasting Finish in Misty Jade & Apricot Punch and L'oreal Carress in Dating Coral.

Boots currently have 3 for 2 on all cosmetics so it would be rude not to participate and buy a few things!

I've been a fan of Revlon Colorstay for a few years now & always like to have a bottle in my collection, I  bought this when I bought my giveaway prizes and actually got this bottle for free.

I really wanted a mint green mail polish but my Boots had sold out of nearly all Barry M polishes so I opted for Rimmel intsead, Apricot Punch also looked like a lovely spring colour so I picked this up too. I had my eye on L'oreal Caresse for a few days and kept popping in until my Boots finally had it in stock, I'm really impressed with it so far and will be posting a full review soon!

Overall I'm really happy with everything I bought, if you would like a full review of anything I've bought please leave a comment below.

My First Nars Product - Nars Gina Blush...

Good evening lovelies =]

Up until very recently I did not own a single Nars product. I'd picked them up in Space NK many times but never ended up buying them, partly due to the £20.50 price tag. This was until the gorgeous Yinka over at Vexinthecity recommended Nars Gina during Buyapowa blogging week and I knew I had to buy it!
Please excuse the grubby packaging, I'm sure anyone who owns a Nars product will sympathise! The packaging is beautiful but picks up finger prints & product like nobody's business!
As you can see Gina is a beautiful matt peach shade, leaning slightly towards coral. Being a matt shade I was worried it would look a little flat but it actually adds a glow to my complexion without making me look like a discoball! Gina is very pigmentated and you only need the smallest amount for it to give a lovely flush of colour or it can be easily built up for a more dramatic look. I've been reaching for this blush every morning since it arrived, it makes me look awake and radiant in the morning & it lasts all day.

Here is me with the Gina applied...
Overall I'm really impressed with Nars Gina and I can't wait to pick up more Nars products, Laguna is next on the list!

Nars Gina is normally priced at £20.50 & is available here.
I paid £15.50 on Buyapowa, a saving of £5.00!

What are your favourite Nars products?
