A New Way To Remove Nail Polish!

Hi lovelies, how are you all?

I was having a browse in Superdrug at lunch today and this grabbed my eye. I've always removed nail polish the 'normal' way with liquid remover & cotton wool, well... not any more!

I'm pretty sure this product isn't new, but it's new to me.

Pretty Quik Instant Nail Polish Remover

It's hard to explain exactly what the product is but it's basically spongy material that has been soaked in nail polish remover. There is a hole where you place your nail, you twist your finger a couple of times and voila! nail polish removed!

It literally took me 5 seconds per nail so it's alot quicker than my usual way of removing nail polish and alot tidier. This will also be great to travel with, I'm always scared my nail polish remover is going to leak in my suitcase!

I couldn't recommend this product enough, although I've only used it once I already know I will be repurchasing it, you should definitely give it a go!

Available at most Boots & Superdrug stores priced at £2.30

Review: No.7 Essential Moisture Day Cream

Hi girls, I hope you've all had a fab weekend!

I really REALLY wanted to go to IMATS yesterday, but I was far too ill :[

I hope those of you who went had a lovely time and show us what you bought!

I've been using this moisturiser off and on for the past 6 months so I thought it was about time I wrote a review on it.

I bought this on a whim, I had a spare No.7 voucher and needed a new everyday moisturiser.

It says on the tub it's intended for normal/skin but I have combination/oily skin and have not experienced any problems with using it.

The cream itself is a light pink shade with little or no fragrance.

I use this cream most mornings and evenings after cleansing and I love it. It leaves my skin non greasy and very very soft. It's been a godsend in the winter, cold weather plays havoc with my skin.

It's hard to show on pictures but it leaves an almost luminous glow to the skin, I tried to show this on the above picture and failed miserably!

This is by no means a miracle cream but I think it's very good for the price, especially if you purchase it with a No.7 voucher and I would certainly recommend it!

Available at Boots, normal price £9.00 or £4.00 with a no.7 voucher.

What do you use your No.7 vouchers on?

An update on the love of my life!

I'm full of the flu today so I didn't want to scare you all with a FOTD or something equally as hideous!

Instead I thought I'd show you someone much cuter than myself, the love of my life, my gorgeous nephew!

I did a post about him around 7 weeks ago now just after he was born, he was a poorly little fella and we were all waiting with baited breath to see if he would be ok. Well, he's made an amazing recovery and came home yesterday!

He's still very little and has to take alot of medication but other than that he is a normal healthy little boy!

Now for the cute bit, the pictures, the bit you're all waiting for!

He's made me SUPER broody!!! Tut!

Hope you all have a fab Saturday, I'm spending mine on the sofa surrounded by tissues drinking lots of tea and watching movies!

New Make Up Organisation... LOVE!

Hi dolls!

I couldn't resist showing you all a bargain I picked up today, I've been excited since lunch time when I picked it up...

This is my new make up organiser!

I picked this gorgeous organiser up in W H Smith for £9.99!

I saw it in there a couple of weeks ago and fell in love with it but didn't want to pay £19.99 for it, I was in there today posting a letter & saw it had been reduced to £9.99, I HAD to grab it, they only had 2 left!

I love the cupcake design, they have matches accessories so I might have to grab those too.

As you can see there is a total of 6 drawers ranging in size, perfect for keeping different types of products in!

I had a look online at the W H Smith website but I couldn't find this & I think it's the last of the sale stock so if you wanted to grab one I would recommend checking out your local branch.

I will do an updated make up storage post when I've filled it with my stuff.

What do you keep your make up in?

Review: Lush Bubblegum Lip Scrub

Hey dolls, Monday is nearly over, yay!

I had a hectic day at work today and all I wanted to do when I got home was curl up with a cup of tea and watch the soaps, roll on summer I say!

Anyway... to the point of the post...

I'd never tried a lip scrub before this but I saw it mentioned on a few blogs and wanted to give it a try.

It's the Lush Lip Scrub in Bubblegum.

It's simply a sugar exfoliator and it comes in 3 flavours: Bubblegum, Mint Julips & Sweet Lips.

Here is what the product looks like:

As you can see it's in a really cute glass jar & the bubblegum flavour is bright pink, gorgeous!

The only way to describe this product is to say it's exactly like sugar in texture.

I can't vouch for the other flavours but the bubblegum flavour tastes YUMMY! I can't resist licking my lips after using it, tut tut!

I use this product every morning before applying lip balm and it leaves my lips feeling lovely and smooth.

I've had my jar for 3 months now & I've barely made a dent in the jar, so I can imagine it lasting for ages!

I paid £3.50 for my 25g jar, I'm afraid I can't check the current selling price because the lush site is currently down but I can't imagine it being much different.

I'd love to try the other flavours, have you tried any of them?

NOTD: China Glaze - Seduce Me

Hi girls, I hope you've all had a fab weekend!

I know I've been a bad blogger of late and I apologise! But I do have lots of exciting posts planned this week so keep your eyes peeled! :)

When I did my latest nail polish haul a few people asked to see Seduce Me... so I thought I'd show you all!

China Glaze - Seduce Me

As you can see it's a gorgeous raspberry shade, if you're scared of red nails this is a lovely transition colour.

The application was nice, opaque in 2 coats, I do however find China Glaze brushes a little small.

I wore this shade last week and it lasted 3 days without chipping, I only removed it because I wanted a change.

I can't wait for Spring so I can start wearing brighter nail polish again, what are your favourite spring polishes?

Mini Nail Polish Haul

Hi everyone, I hope you're all having a fabulous week!

I ordered these nail polishes last week & they arrived today, my Mum rang me at lunch to tell me I had a package at home & I couldn't wait to see them!

Queue a mini nail polish haul...

Essie - Angora Cardie, China Glaze - Recycle, China Glaze - Seduce Me, Seche Vite - Top Coat

Essie - Angora Cardie

Anyone that has been reading my blog for a while will know I have owned this nail polish before, I LOVE it!!! It's the perfect dusky maroon shade. Click here for a NOTD I did on this polish previously.

China Glaze - Recycle

My name is Sarah & I am a grey nail polish addict. I have about 5 grey nail polishes, what is wrong with me?! What's one more between friends...

China Glaze - Seduce Me

This polish is alot redder in person, I would describe it as a raspberry shade. I can't wait to try it out!

Seche Vite - Top Coat

Last but by no means least I HAD to get another bottle of Seche Vite, It's simply the best top coat I have ever tried. It makes my polish last for days without chipping & makes them SUPER shiny. I recommend it 64836493393%

I hope you enjoyed this mini nail polish haul & on that note... I'm off to do my nails!

Graze Review & Try A Box For FREE!

Hi dolls, hope you're all ok!

I've been poorly today so I this called for a day on the sofa with chick flicks and lots of TLC!

I was going to post this much earlier but I got distracted watching Serendipity, how perfect is that film?!

Anyway... to the point of this post....

(You'll have to ignore the tatty box, I had to rip my address off!)

One of my new years resolutions was to eat healthy & cut the rubbish snacks out. When I saw this site I knew I had to give it a go.

You've probably all heard of Graze.com but incase you haven't they are a UK based company that deliver boxes of healthy snacks to your door. Each box contains 4 punnets each with a different healthy snack.

The difference between graze & buying the products yourself is you don't know what you are going to receive in each box. When you sign up you can select which snacks you think you'll love or hate & if you know you won't like something then you can bin it & you definitely will not receive it. You can bin items by type, for example if you are allergic to nuts then you can bin all snacks that contain nuts so you will never receive them. I like this idea, you get a little surprise everytime you receive a new box!

I received:

The Lost Army - Oriental Cracker Mix.
Lighted Toasted Pistachios.
Honey Bee Good - Honey Peanuts, Cashews & Pecans.
Very Cherry Raisins.

Everything is sealed when you receive it for freshness & they can be kept for a few weeks sealed so you don't have to eat them the day you receive your box.

Out of all 4 my favourite was the raisins, they are GORGEOUS! I want more!!! Honey Bee Good is yummy & pistachios were well... pistachios. I wasn't a fan of the cracker mix, I thought it was tasteless, but then I guess healthy doesn't always mean yummy!

Now for the service.

I ordered my box to arrive on Wednesday. I waited. & I waited. & It FINALLY arrived on Saturday. I was not impressed. On the website there is a help section, I informed them that my box did not arrive on time & they refunded me £3.49. I thought this was very generous considering I got the box for free in the first place! I don't know if this is a regular occurrence as this is my first box, but it might be something to bare in mind if you are relying on your snacks being delivered on an exact day.

Inside the box you receive 2 handy leaflets. One is a personalised nutrition guide & handy tip guide. I thought this was a nice touch!

All in all I'm impressed with Graze. For a reasonable price you can have fresh, healthy & yummy snacks delivered to your door. The only let down was the delivery, but they did refund me for a box I didn't even pay for, so my second box will also be free!

Now... for your free box!

All you have to do is sign up to graze.com, enter your details & select your favourite/least favourite snacks. When you're ready to order a box simply click order a box & enter the following code:

7HPXL9Y

This will give you your first box completely free with no obligation to purchase anymore. You have nothing to lose! :]

Leave me a comment if you decide to try Graze.com or if you've used it before what were your favourite snacks?
